This is indicative of a completely broken system. A system in which businesses and the ultra-wealthy should be required to pay their taxes. A system that desperately needs more worker protections, more labor unions, more regulations on businesses, and a living wage for all.

I'm glad the court found in favor of the defendant; however, that doesn't make her whole for what she's endured.

Trump is powerless to pardon her, so he lashes out at Governor Polis instead. This highlights the importance of state-level prosecutions for these crimes. Thank goodness there's still SOMETHING that is immune from Trump's meddling, corruption, and ineptitude.
