While I appreciate having more money in my pocket.
I'd WAY rather see the Federal Government do more investment in infrastructure so my kids have a future in Canada.
We are DECADES behind on replacement & growth

My kids and wife try and encourage routes that avoid us being able to see them so I don't talk about how it was built, when it needs to be replaced, and the cool features... :( Infrastructure is FUN

Only of my Problems with @bsky.app as a platform is when I'm posting what am I doing, With Twitter I was tweeting, Snap I'm snapping, Instagram It's an Insta, or IG. With BlueSky am I BSing? little things like this bug me. Yes.

Lucky he is saying it on BlueSky and not twitter. So we'll be safe from them seeing it or a little while yet.

A detailed write up of WHY sole-sourcing was chosen, The Feds have a process called Advance Contract Award Notices, (ACAN) which are a great tool for transparency for sole-sourcing, and really should be used far more in Canadian procurement.

I think Canada needs to make the dream of secure housing to include being a renter. The dream of home ownership is tied to the fear of not being in control of housing, and missing out on tax free gains. If Renters were less second class, maybe the home ownership dream would soften.

Everytime I'm in Halifax I realize how absolutely terrible Toronto is for pedestrians... Downtown is so pedestrian focused, crosswalks work right away, push and wait is barely a thing.

I hate that in Ontario, during a housing crisis, I am still hearing councilors saying "growth should pay for growth" and voting against infrastructure needed to allow growth to happen... If I go bald, it is because of watching Ontario council meetings.

I just want the Feds to build housing on military bases... like lots of housing. offloading housing to the communities around the bases is ripe for exploitation.

They also REALLY are going to need to define what a US company is. What % of US ownership turns a Canadian company to a US company? If an International hedge fund owns them but has US exposure does that make them US? Not enough details
