I left the door open to cool off the house in the early morning hours. While I was resting, a field mouse came in to join my cozy nap.

I tried to catch it to put it out, but Goose was faster. Now she is annoyed that I made her take her prize outside and won’t let her back in with it.

Pickles. My husband will only eat one kind of pickle, me I want ALL the pickles so we have three jars.

I feel this 100%! It’s too hot to bake here right now so I purchased a “fancy” loaf of bread from the store, it the before days it would have been a treat, but my husband and teen complained it was flavorless and should no longer be purchased. We have come a long way in our first year.

What do else can you do with your sourdough when it’s stupid hot and you have no air conditioning? Sourdough pizza on the grill. (Note to others, King Arthur’s Sourdough Discard Pizza Dough is AWESOME on the grill!
