any platform with UGC has a dangerous choice to make.

1) spend a fortune hosting and delivering any and all UGC (including tons of slop, ai or not)

2) choose to remove and reject spammy and low-effort content, potentially losing users in the process

i so badly want to build a physical audio format for the modern day. optical media isn’t gonna last, no one has a cd player anymore. vinyl is cool but impractical and can be damaged moving from place to place. cassettes are the closest to what i’m thinking, but are still too bulky and lack detail…..
