Post apocalypse show's been a fun watch so far. Happier, cheerier version of Girls' Last Tour and it show cases real places around Japan instead of fictional ones (that was good in it's own creative way too). Not much light on how the world ended this way though. #shmts_touring

Upside you would maintain privacy and dignity. And more importantly, resolve the unresolved issue of not enough health workers problem. Strikes over pay wouldn't be an issue too unless the costs of maintaining the services and materials grow too high.

Wonder how creepy it would feel if we ever reach the stage of automated health care? Just entering facilities completely devoid of life. Guess it would more likely we'd grow accustomed like with self-service kiosks... #shmts_touring

Saw on Chinese news how a 73 year old woman's bag filled with 640,000 Yen (£3124) of cash was stolen by a Narita Airport security inspector. Native news in Japan reports the suspect stole the bag because they never returned for it.

Kept seeing it on my timeline so picked up Gnosia. Sci-fi themed "crime" felt kind of weird like a game first but interesting watching Yuri develop after each ep's time loop reset and more of the world building is happening. 3 eps in better. Sci-fi designs really dull tho.

Browsing sites that offer short term apartment rentals if you wanted to stay in Japan for a month or longer. Prices better than your hotel search sites wary how trust-worthy the sites are...

That said, emails aren't considered secure since they are relayed through multiple servers across the internet so it's like sending a postcard to someone. They shouldn't consider anything sensitive besides the odd verification/forgotten password link (that should also expire).

Gmail can use my emails for AI training now...? Another reason why I try to avoid cloud/online services since you can't control what changes they make or whether they are made without your knowledge =/

Hmmm, so Wikipedia's going to have an AI competitor... Wonder which people will trust more? Think people growing up with the AI boom will go with the latter until they learn how various sources of info are verified (or not).

Also "liked" how there were "stop eating meat" advocates standing around Osaka, Namba with screens casually playing graphic videos of how livestock are treated.

Watched a walking tour video of Osaka, Namba. Never spent much time there other than Denden and Harukas. Guy happened to pass by a Doraemon pop-up store which looks pretty similar to the one that appeared in Akiba.

All these recent frequent website/services outage shows how much trouble workplaces would be in if Windows turned into a full cloud-based AI OS. Would be hard to abandon the OS too since it dominates the PC market.

Guessing there's some kind of mass host outage again since a lot of sites aren't loading. Seems to be Cloudflare WAF related again. One of the drawbacks of most people choosing to use the same pre-packaged security for their SaaS.

Finished Refantazio. Western fantasy aesthetics had put me off playing the game but nice to see it was pretty much Persona with a different skin. Not a fan of the opera music though and only ending was pretty meh. Funny they got an actual priest to chant, haha.

Nearing the end of ReFantazio. Thank goodness there are Japanese guides that draw ordered routes for dungeons instead of just video or just describing them like for the Skybound dungeon.

Fun ending credits. Only KPOP band I recognised from the posters was Twice since I hear them a lot on JPOP radio ironically (and they sang one of the songs)... Seems Meovv's real too.

Not quite a fan of the music and animation's a bit jittery like stop motion though. Bobby just reminds me of Andrew Chan (陳浚霆), probably best known in HK sitcom Come Home Love (愛回家)😅

Decided to watch action romcom KPop Demon Hunters because of the hype. Was going to drop it the first 10 minutes in but direction picks up after that with the trust and beliefs theme. Pretty good aesthetics like KRPGs and fun comical expressions.

Dang, so they plan to replace the 2001 mascot sometime towards the end of next year...

Quite liking the show so far. Just not a fan of the backgrounds which look a bit AI generated and the songs our heroines sing. Unique endings are fun too. Wonder whenever shows do this the staff are groaning, "Oh no, more work..."😅

Can't leave out the Steins;gate Yanagimori shrine location although the actual shrine from the game/show was moved to Ueno.

AI radio keeping survivors of a post-apocalypse world company... Pretty melodramatic. Kind of reminds me of Fallout except those were actually run by people. Human run internet radio has better song selections than algorithm/AI selected ones imo.

Nice how it touches on AI and how once you go outside the scope of what it was trained for, it's pretty much useless.

Haha, this time they put one of the Aobuta theme songs in it. Pretty fun guessing the Anime songs.
