Here a few thoughts about social media.

It seems as if we may be moving into the post-social media era.

Many people have realised by now that platforms like X have had their time.

There will continue to be people there who will shout and scream for a while.

I have spoken to many people who have given up on social media. As one of my friends said why spend time watching strangers quarrel with strangers...

The third question is whether abuse and extremism is an inherent part of social media.

I don't have an answer to these questions but would be interested to hear your views.

But it is no longer a platform that can be used for a meaningful debate or exchange of views in a civilised manner.

The first question is when journalists, governmental institutions and politicians decide to abandon X.

Thank you - it seems as we finally got to a stage where most people have some protection against severe infection.

I am getting fed up with people bickering over LC. It exists, it is bad, and it needs solutions and treatments. What it does not need is unfair comparisons. What I mean is that we cannot compare incidence during a pandemic with incidences of endemic infections.
