EV sales *still* have not fallen, cooled, slowed or slumped. Media is lying to you. After two years of headlines begging for failure, EV sales keep defying false media narratives that they are dropping, and continue to rise.

Headlines purposely misleading.

EV sales continue to grow globally.

ICE sales are down by approx. 25%from their peak in 2017, and show no signs of recovering.

It is exceedingly likely that 2017 will be the high-water mark of gas-powered cars ever sold on this planet.

I was wrong on both accounts.
So far the Carney government has been an ecological disaster, closer to Ford and Trump than to Trudeau. I feel deceived and distraught. I am seeing an utter cave-in to everything oil and gas wants, while the climate crisis worsens by the day.

I voted Liberal because Mark Carney was the adult in the room who "got" the climate urgency.
I anticipated weak measures in yesterday's budget on climate & environment --owing to the global headwinds, regional politics in Canada and intense industry lobbying-- but something positive at least.

When scared little boys feel compelled to lash out. Today it's rainbow crosswalks. Tomorrow it's you and me.
