It's all about AI.

They very much want to use AI.
They very much want to use your art to train AI.
They could not broadcast more clearly how much they want a piece of that AI

I’ll say it right now: if Patreon implements AI, I’ll leave. Right away.
Even if I’ve been building my page there for 4+ years.
I’d rather sell my NPC art packages on my own site, than let Patreon use my work to train AI.
They already take lots of my money without offering nearly enough in exchange.

Feeding 4 with a decent fare is around 60-80$ CAD here in Canada (most McDo items are too poo-poo to consider....), so that's around a core book's 65 bucks
