I say all of this in the spirit of genuinely trying to help you. I've launched a social media platform of a sort. I've thought about this stuff a lot. Social platforms have become a disaster--there's a reason macron called them out today. be part of the solution, don't exacerbate the problem.

you don't have to be elon musk! hell, you don't even need to be richer than croesus! you just need to run a good kind cool safe website that allows millions of people to interact. and you need to look at nazis and their fellow travelers the way our grandparents did--you know, think dresden.

it's ok not to be cool. It used to be cool to be uncool. Nerds were cool in their not-coolness. watching you try to meme your way out of this shows that we've lost that--nerds now in their own heads are cool, but to much of the rest of the world they just seem perplexing and stupid, honestly.

should be an easy call. If it isn't, you need to ask yourself what kind of world you want to live in, and see if the app reflects that world? is that world...marching in goosesteps? Is it using the most vulerable as a cudgel to whip up mass anger and violence? that sounds bad. don't do that.
