A surprise flyby Stone-curlew was a highlight at Dan's Dock. Along with a single Black Tern, 72 Whimbrel, 2 Whinchat, 6 Little & 2 Cattle Egret, 3 Green & 1 Curlew Sandpiper, 2 Water Rail, 12 Yellow Wagtail, 2 Greenshank and 1 Spoonbill #KentBirding

Perhaps the most comfortable boots I have ever worn, but I too have the exact same issue, albeit after 18 months and many miles of wear. They arenβt exactly cheap and really should surely last longer.

A very pleasant wander with Micky McNaghten on South Cliff, Scarborough this morning. Highlights of vis mig included 10 Yellow Wagtails and a single Blue-headed (S), Hooded Crow (N) & my first Swift of the year. An arrival of 6 Wheatears included 5 on the Holbeck landslip rock armour. #ukbirding
