There's a group of people who don't want change. They want things to continue as they are, broken but sorta working. Trump breaks things so they don't like him, but they won't support people who want to make things better, just "the same" (which inevitably makes it worse). Newsom is "the same".

The problem is we want to vote Blue, but the DNC keeps giving us Purple at *best*, and when people do vote for Blue, they start going "No that's the wrong kind of Blue!"

When it's against the fascists I absolutely will hold my nose and vote Purple against them, but we should still demand better.
