A reminder that no matter how many videos of ICE abuses appear online, a chunk of America, a big chunk of Trump’s base, is not just totally fine with it, they want it, enjoy it, revel in it. The cruelty is indeed the point. The rest of us non-sociopaths need to reckon with that depressing reality.

I lost trust a while ago. It was cemented when they raided a factory in my town last summer and separated nursing mothers from their kids without providing pads or breast pumps to them in detention. And then pointed guns at peaceful old protestors as CBP illegally transported them to airport.

Fair, but a little broad. I’ll never leave the house if “humans” are a threat.

You know the world has lost its mind, when you can’t tell satire from reality.

There’s only one group I see as a threat and it’s not Jewish folks, Hindu folks or Muslim folks…

The only people that are bad candidates for office are the people convinced they’re good candidates for office. In my town an ex librarian very reluctantly ran for county legislature. She won and now she’s bringing real positive change to a political machine.

I used to make up bedtime stories for my kids. It always took place with a Pegasus named Peggy and a little boy (when with my son) or a little girl (w/my girls). They always asked me the child’s name & I never gave them one. I guess I hoped they’d imagine themselves flying w/peggy.
