The program i did was fully run by volunteers and fundraising in the community to give teens lessons and gear until they became instructors and now had jobs and could teach the next group

That taught me how important sport (and the community with it) can be to somebody's whole life

Right like I'll be posting my quinn cards and jersey like i'm trying to rehome a dog 😭 just because sports have a lot of rich white men in them doesn't mean others should be prevented or excluded

I got my start in skiing thanks to a charity org and still give back since it changed my life

the boy aquarium was actually a piranha tank

After everything with team usa it made the Canucks look better. Not on the ice (they still play bad hockey) but at least none of them were part of that locker room yesterday

the gold medal winners were the biggest losers. I think a lot of people have been feeling heavily conflicted and disappointed
