Yeah, same here. Closest is in Sierra Vista, 20+ miles away. I either have to early bus in, or get a friend to go with me. I’m not sure there’s a cinema in Douglas or Tombstone. And if I want full choice I have to go to Tucson.

Also, I’m stubborn. Getting back on ADHD meds hasn’t ameliorated that. Now I’m *focused* stubborn.

I was actually delighted that Nancy got me. She’s very very nice, and has driven me before. For added hilarity her GPS took us down a Bisbee street neither of us has been down before.

Then my housemate grumped at me for not calling him. I didn’t want to impose on him, honestly.

It was quite amazing in a way — the director of the wound clinic got involved, the house supervisor at the hospital got involved (and was figuring out where to stash me for the night), and finally Triple-A got driver Nancy out to rescue me.

I’m back after a rather dull adventure to Sierra Vista. It should have been a six hour round trip but ended up as a thirteen hour slog as multiple transportation operations failed when the return trip was triggered. This includes Uber and Lyft and all of the medical transports. 1/2

I did a batch of laundry last night, must hang it out now while I’ll only get mild hypothermia.

The dogs were mildly puzzled. Well, dog, as Monroe hasn’t enough brain to be puzzled. Which might be true of Nala also, but she covers well. Gentry was away with Neal, so didn’t care.

Mofo is big into roadkill and heroin. He needs to find an opium den to rot in.

The timed release part is important as regular Adderall metabolizes within a few hours with me, and the transition is wildly uncomfortable as I speed up and scatter.

And now I’m back on Adderall as well as Depakote and, man, the difference. However, as when I originally started years ago (decades!) — in my forties — an immediate result was a bout of hyperfocus. Not as sustained as I used to have, though, as I’m a Crusty Old. This is also timed release.

I had to sit for a bit after reading the guidelines because I had to acknowledge that I fit them. Not the first time I've had to do that, mind.

One can always project beyond the ending and conclude that Jack's corpse was eaten by the polar bear. The fact that Jack's spirit in Purgatory says nothing of this is meaningless as he likely had no awareness of either his death or its aftermath. Or, indeed, that they were all in Purgatory.

Thanks. It's honestly a mess with the current setup. They decided that an poorly coded AI could handle things, but fortunately they have humans as a backup...if you can reach them.

That said, while I might be in a more high energy state some of the time (and restless!) it's actually easier to manage this way, and will get easier on the next step as well. It's also got me more organized as to food. I'd like it to help me get overall more organized, but that ship has sailed.

So, yeah, first there was the medication change, putting me back on Depakote, then a second change to increase the dosage. The idea is to reestablish my baseline and stop me from crashing as badly as I do.

What it's actually done is reactivate the full range of my triple cycle....
