Forgive my wailing into the void, but shit is so hard and I can’t slow down because the machine won’t allow it. No time to rest; no time to grieve; no time for any pleasure without guilt. I have so much to do and no one to really rely on anymore. This has been the longest year of my life.

There’s a learning curve to it, for sure. It’s quite overwhelming for those who are unfamiliar with the series—myself included—but I’ve yet to find myself frustrated enough to quit. It’s charming and hard to put down once you’re engaged. I recommend it if you’re seeking something totally different!

I have zero interest in sports, but I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my time with the soccer game Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road. Been playing through the story campaign alongside my partner, which has been such a delight. It’s the sort of game that’ll make you feel like a kid again in the best way!
