I'll be photographing the Tarrytown Halloween Parade in Sleepy Hollow today for @lohud.com Parade organizers are advising folks to take Metro North to the Tarrytown station to help ease the traffic burden. I'm doing my part by boarding in New Hamburg, where there are already quite a few revelers.

Few things are more unsettling than the solo midnight walk to the campground bathroom, half awake, when 2 glowing eyes high up off the ground are illuminated by your flashlight. Deer. It was a deer. My heart nearly leapt out of my chest.

Organizers estimated over 2000, close to 3000 present at the Winslow Gate No Kings protest. The crowd is starting to disperse with some heading to the No Kings Waryas Park protest, which starts at noon.

Event organizers estimate as of 30 mins ago roughly 1300 protesters are stretched along route 9.

The line of protesters are a little over a quarter of a mile long now with protesters starting to take space up along both sides of Route 9 now.
