UNC Admin Can Now, Officially, Secretly Record Faculty The new policy prohibits students from recording class without permission but explicitly allows administrators to surveil professors for any “lawful purpose.”

“The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill recently rolled out a new policy that permits university officials to record classes without notifying the instructor. It’s a practice administrators have used in the past to investigate professors but have now formalized in writing.”

Uses for Duct Tape Bananas for art. Too squirmy babies. The kidnapped for ransom. Those being detained for torture. Mouth breathing. Generally, holding things together that do not want to stay. Household repairs. PIcking up recalcitrant crumbs – better than masking tape. The gentle percussion of the sound when pulled from the roll, its song.

Onions, a Confection Thinking about onions. We do not have any. The roads still covered with ice. Inside, a green shoot that isn’t supposed to be there yet. A scar from a shovel. Wound and return.
