Trump’s Plan to Defund the NIH Will Ruin a National Treasure
Trump, Musk, and Vought are purging institutions and cutting off access to educational and research opportunities for anyone who isn’t straight and white.
As a proud alumnus of NIDA's post-baccalaureate IRTA program and current PI on multiple extramural awards I am heartbroken by the attacks by this administration on our public health research infrastructure. Stay strong, time to rage against the dying of the light!

With the new hard cap on indirects at 15% it would also be good to note the current indirect rates at Texas universities. Here's a few:
Texas Tech: 49%
Texas A&M: 52.5%
UT Austin: 58.5%
This is important because it's not just the large Ivy League schools getting shafted. It is all of higher ed
