Pleased to say I’ve submitted my thesis. It’s been a strange 4 years… I’ve achieved more than I thought I would whilst also being diagnosed with a disability. Excited to have some quality time off before embarking on next steps

I’m very fortunate to have a stable base in Coventry, so am looking for jobs in the West and East Midlands as well as anything hybrid/remote that’s still within an hour or so drive or train. Please share with your networks and let me know if you hear of any openings 😊

As I’m nearing thesis submission, I’m looking for postdoc research and/or teaching positions for the new year. My research interests are metaphor, corpus discourse analysis, health communication, and pregnancy discourse. I’m also interested in disability and neurodivergence due to lived experience.
