ive been informed that this is extremely normal post surgery and where im at im doing pretty well all things considered so im not like complaining! just noticing

having a perfectly nice chill day and then finding out at 4pm that my body is going to react to this as if I've been in crunch mode is like. oh! right!

the weird situation of like. i have a lot of experience with fatigue, this isn't novel or unusual, i just keep being SURPRISED when the fatigue hits bc the usual suspects (overwork, pain, infectious illness, mental health crash) are absent
