Things that raise IQ in children: clean water, vaccines, SNAP and WIC, quality schools with small class sizes, clean air, health insurance and access to healthcare.

Things that don’t raise IQ: conspiracy theories, scare tactics, anti-science messages from previously respected organizations.

Things large, quality studies show markedly lower IQ in American children: lead, mercury, infections, poor nutrition, lack of intellectual stimulation, pesticides, poor prenatal care…

Things the FDA is getting rid of because of lousy, small studies showing a few points drop in IQ: fluoride.
