Watch ‘Rebel Moon’ and you’ll regret every bad thing you ever said about anything ‘Star Wars’

I would take any piece of Star Wars over Rebel Moon!

The Holiday Special…uh…um…err…huh..

…Actually you know what? I probably would take the Holiday Special over Rebel Moon! It’s at least entertainingly bad at times!

After I was finished suffering through that six-hour slog, I was tempted to dig up every piece of Star Wars media I had ever said a bad word about, and APOLOGIZE to it! We never knew how good we had it!

And I implore anyone who’s tempted to argue my rankings to go and watch ‘Rebel Moon’ first. Director’s cut, both parts. I refuse to continue having to suffer that experience in isolation. It makes the worst ‘Star War’ movies and show look GREAT! Really puts in perspective how good we’ve got it!

Since Star Wars Rankings are trending again, here’s my ranking of the movies:

I feel like if an elected official commits multiple felonies, and runs for office again, voting for that person should ideally be at least a misdemeanor? Punishable by fine? It really feels like a form of aiding and abetting a criminal.

It goes on and on like this. All Mamdani had to do was not hate the Dems QUITE enough to their liking, and the leftists turn on him.

You'd think after a fucking DECADE or so of Trump repeatedly proving that politics doesn't obey the same principles as social media cancel culture, it would sink in.

Self love includes self discipline. Holding yourself to account. Taking care of yourself.

Hot take: the Rian Johnson Benoit Blanc movies are more true to the spirit of Agatha Christie mysteries (smart, ensemble driven, all clues in plain sight, everyone confused about the detective's cultural background) than the Kenneth Branagh adaptations of actual Agatha Christie titles

Always grinds my gears when people say "No one would work drudge jobs if there was a UBI"

But even staying completely capitalist, I disagree. If I received a baseline living-wage UBI, and then I was offered REWARDS for drudge jobs, I'd take it! I want to save up for treats and travel and hobbies!

It depends:

When it’s time for us to blame and heap scorn on them, then YES!

They do have control over their urges.

When it’s time to engage with them, try to get them to change their behaviour or atone for their misdeeds, then NO!

Religious fundamentalism happens because cruelty releases endorphins and way too many religious people are too repressed to just get into BDSM like a normal person.

People REALLY need to stop thinking of their vote as a special treat they'll only give to Democrats when they've done a good-enough job, or even a less-worse job than the Republicans. Framing a blue vote as something you're doing FOR the Dems is a mistake.
