Song number 3 is written and finished, recorded, mixed and uploaded for March. Since Jan 1st i have been making steady progress, as I navigate the world of social media and finding an audience I m making inroads. Hurrah. "The Boys from Waterloo" is my best song for a while (I think).

My second song of 2025 releases Monday 3rd Feb, "Summer days are never the same". Black and white video. A song about addiction and disability, two people working their ways through that under the moonlight.

I’m basically going classical at this point. This is literally all tracks of mandola and mandolin through an electro harmonix pitchfork pedal.

I ve invested a bit of my wages in promotion lately, stopped drinking (saved a bit of money from that) and its payed off so far, seeing a bit of growth in opportunity. I actually landed a feature in print, grew my listeners on the green streaming place, ive been networking with bloggers a lot.

His lieutenant of chaos doing nazi salutes is just the icing on the cake for many, in europe it is beyond alarming. Interfering into our election processes. Any of these tech firms trying to force this crap onto us should be blocked into oblivion imo.
What can the world do?

I ponder the vindictive nature of the establishment abroad in America, a horrifying spectacle of religious crazies and conspiracy theorists hell bent on implementing cruelty on their own populace. I am truly appalled at what I am reading, and the man who thinks he is god emperor of the world.

This is not a game, we are governed by consent, in a free and democratic country, our liberty is paramount and with that in mind we must accept that there is a cost and consequence to having freedom to exchange and debate ideas. Under techno fascism this is no longer the case.

At some point there will be a reckoning, as people become more desperate, but seeing very wealthy people, brazen in their disrespect for other countries established democratic processes and territories is a worrying development. They must be held to account, the damage being done is immeasurable.

It is is clear to me you cannot beat these people by playing by the rules when they are subverting them and projecting their own misgivings on to others. Democracy is at a crossroads, the tools to mislead and manipulate us are more sophisticated than ever, as the world faces climate catastrophe.

I don't think what is happening in America is going to just stay there tbh. I think this is a power shift in the world, and its something we thought we put to bed in in the last century. It might be a little different, using AI and tech to to spread poison but the end result is the same.

I seem to remember when Truss was in charge, there were Tufton street members appearing on BBC news as commentators until that budget ruined the economy. It is no surprise that shady think tank and money is throwing its weight behind reform. I remember Farage celebrating her budget on national tv.
