I came, I saw, I fell over.
I saw ET for the first time last December - which is probably later than most.

I have seen TDAT almost as many times as I've seen Twister and Armageddon.
I know I shouldn't watch them.
I know I ended up ranting at the TV, but I just can't give up.
One more watch then I'll quit...
I was starting to have doubts about this, thinking to myself many examples and then realised they all were a bit "British Empire"'ish, and perhaps that is why actual English might have less of an issue than English speakers. Just as bad, if not worse.
06.11.2025 13:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Very similar to me, genuine Sinclair ZX80, then one of the first batch of C64's in the UK - no tape deck at that time, so cartridge only.
Then an Atari 80xl then an ST and finally a Falcon.
My dad then passed away and home computers lost their magic and became bland business PC's to me.
My partners friend is meeting us at the boat and asked for the WhatThreeWords to find her.
Was not impressed to see it include submerged weeps
Not superstitious at all. Pure coincidence I just moved her 3ft to get a better anchorage.
35 years later, and I still am angry over the final book of the Amtrak Wars.
I'd have been hurled out a school window if I'd written that as an ending for homework.
And the fact he had 30yrs to write a new final "final" book shows he had no clue how to wrap it up.
I shall compromise.
Rather than pay Starlink $2 per gb to stream, I shall wait until I'm back in civilisation with broadband to download to a tablet.
I'm skipping over the spoilers, as I didn't see S1, but if it's got your seal of approval, then I'll give it a try. Was worried it might cut a bit too close to the bone, what with current events.

And when they follow that advice, they're a bad'un.
Sometimes you could be mistaken for thinking that some sections of society want nothing more than to hurt the other sections.
Sometimes, life feels like a stuffed crust double pepperoni.
Sometimes, it's a Margherita with extra pineapple.
Lately, life has been a stale crust, ketchup, and a dairylea slice past its sellby date.
Give the pooches an extra cuddle.
I missed the sowing window last year, so to artificially simulate winter stratification, my freezer currently contains many, many kilogrammes of seed and a pack of 32 fishfingers.
I feel I've reached peak adulthood.

Also picked up the service kit for the mowing deck - crazy to think that the spares package today cost more than I paid for the actual machine back in 2019 !
Next I need to order some sunshine so the meadow actually flowers this year.
I'd be amazed if I liked as many as one in ten of the games you do, doesn't alter great of a reviewer you are and how informative and entertaining you and Elaine are in videos and podcasts.
Plus I know when our tastes do align then it's going to be an absolute banger of a game and a must purchase.
This year I have concentrated on finding positives. eg sure, a serious injury harrowing the meadow, but hey look, lots of pretty wild flowers.
It's been stupendously hard work but I do think overall it's worked.
Has definitely been harder to find those positives each time as the year has progressed.
My faith in humanity has been restored !!!

It's taken me 2 weeks to remember my password for this site, yet I have no problem recalling all the blinding light Carter gigs. Braincells well allocated
"Charming and fun" must mean all 100 are Jar Jar Binks.
I'm now scouring etsy for gnome/Jar Jar hybrid Christmas tree decorations. No chance I'm going to get any sleep tonight now.

The lined paper was gold for me.
Quite a few programming languages that had progressed from original punchcard needed special rulers made from bakelite with character locations etched on. We would put the ruler over the index point and the lined paper helped ensure you hadn't got it all skew-whiff
