I'm with you - I'm 68 and never attended a protest until this year. It feels imperative to get out there - plus it's an uplifting antidote to falling into despair. Hopefully some kind of momentum is maintained.

In West Springfield, MA today - overwhelmingly good reaction to our protest by passing motorists. Just a few giving us the finger or a good F-you.

One thing I don't get is that the 15th amendment states that "The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude". Race is specified! How can they ignore that?

I once had a business tax filing that was supposed to go to UT that bounced back and forth between Springfield MA (home) and Hartford CT before making it to UT - but then bounced back again to the Springfield-Hartford loop. USPS couldn't explain it - and I was penalized for a late return. Amazing.
