He was bragging a few days ago on social media that he'd take the police to court if they arrested him. In October, and again last week, he posted a letter which he'd clearly misunderstood. He thought it ended his bail but it just changed the requirement to report to police. A curfew remained.

From posts of his partner yesterday, who also has charges against her, their computers and phones have been confiscated. I imagine that should loosen the bowels of quite a few of their associates.

Obviously people who saw his letter knew that he'd misunderstood but all of them kept their powder dry and let his stupidity & arrogance take their course.

Baker always represents himself in court, which indicates he thinks he's a lot smarter than he actually is. Abraham Lincoln is attributed as saying a man who represents himself has a fool for a client.

Baker was denied bail and remanded until 16th December. He's charged with breaching a previous bail (he misunderstood a letter changing his bail conditions), and distributing offensive weapons to women at a protest in November (knuckle dusters).

Legal bid to have Palestinian flag taken down denied, High Court rules The proposal to fly the Palestinian flag was passed by 32 to 28 votes on Monday.

The amount of energy that has been invested in this is ridiculous, especially when you read that the flag has already been taken down anyway.

This was in relation to Belfast City Council voting last night to raise the Palestinian flag for a day. Worth noting that Palestine is recognised by the UK.
