We went to see it instead of watching the Super Bowl in 1988. We lived in DC and the fake fair weather nfl team β€œfans” were awful
Projectionist stopped the movie to tell us the horrible home team won

Naming rights probably better if reserved for dead folks, and even then a school might need to change a name.

That state’s bar had been more challenging for law school grads because of the performance component requiring test taker to find facts from documents and then figure out and apply the law from authorities provided. Teaching how to practice law (not just think) is still kinda new

Not to late to go to law school
A classmate walked at graduation with a grandkid; one of my law students was a briefly retired oil company executive

Crypto marks seem more like the traders in the story of the guy who turned a red paper clip into a house over a series of trades.

Yes, the reading, thinking, sorting, finding meaning process is much harder than ingesting content in lecture format (I agree, top students often preferred that)
My students needed to understand that learning the process was the outcome, not providing a paper.
Teaching is really hard

One of my law school professors was a true exception- JJ White at Michigan law was organized, guided questions and answers to thoroughly and clearly cover content. Few faculty were as skilled as he was.

IMO more Students are advocating for themselves to better comprehend the material.

More neurodivergent students are surviving and sometimes excelling in high school, more of these kids are in college. A handful were in my law school classes. Socratic method lecture without any clarification or closing remarks from faculty left many (most) students in a fog. 3/

Students with auditory processing difficulties cannot listen to a lecture, and distill points, and simultaneously write notes. They have been trained to compare their notes (if any) to teacher-provided or classmate notes. 2/

Students on the autism spectrum have real difficulties drawing inferences, reading between the lines, etc. their high schools are suggesting the teachers provide direct instruction (clear assignments and expectations). More students with more differences are in college 1/
