You know, I can appreciate it a lot more in Doom than in Sonic because you're changing the game as a whole. Changing how a platformer character platforms is a lot more... pervasive, and kind of domino chain ruins the level design. In Doom I just wanna make the projectiles faster, go turbo mode.
