The Supreme Court just rejected Ghislaine Maxwell’s appeal of her criminal conviction for recruiting and grooming teenage girls for sexual abuse by Jeffrey Epstein.

The decision means that her conviction and 20-year criminal sentence remain in place.

BREAKING: We just won in court — again.

A federal judge BLOCKED Donald Trump’s unlawful attempt to DEPLOY 300 OF OUR NATIONAL GUARD TROOPS TO PORTLAND.

Trump is now calling up National Guard troops from states to send them into other states.

He’s trying to send California troops into Oregon & Texas troops into Illinois.

This is illegal & threatens to tear apart our country even further.

He is trying to provoke a civil war.

Important to keep in mind that while the Republican-state governors sending their National Guard into Democratic states definitely think of this as conquering US, a victory for the Confederacy, those National Guard are probably pissed they are being sent away from jobs/family for this absurd mission

Trump is ignoring a judge's ruling, ignoring the sovereign right of governors to deploy their National Guard, ignoring the truth, lying about violence to justify his invasions.

Calling up one state's National Guard to deploy in another state against latter's express wishes raises issues - constitutional, legal, political, and historical - that federalizing a state's own National Guard does not. And are distinct from deploying other state NGs into federally-controlled DC.

In addition to their national defense duties, Americans rely on our National Guard to fight wildfires and respond to other natural disasters.

Donald Trump's weaponization of the Guard and deployments to American cities erodes that trust, and makes us less prepared when they are most needed.

At what point does a governor call up their National Guard to oppose the deployment of an out-of-state National Guard?

Judge Immergut isn’t playing around and I suspect will slam the Trump Administration for trying to end-run her order from yesterday blocking Trump’s call-up of Oregon’s National Guard in Portland.

This is a breathtaking abuse of the law and power by the President of the United States.

America is on the brink of martial law.
