Getting a new Tron movie isn't worth enabling the career of a(n alleged) predator.

I would’ve loved to see a good Tron movie get made & released that resolved what threads were left from Legacy & Uprising. I would’ve loved it if the lead of Ares wasn't someone who is a real-life (alleged) predator & also a bad actor.

Neither of those things are happening.

Aw, man. Keaton was legit one of the greats. The people I know who worked with her all have nothing but incredibly glowing things to say about her. Worked right up to the end. A real loss.

He looks up at Daryl Hannah and we can see he has an unusually long nose. This is because “Roxanne” is a loose adaptation of Cyrano de Bergerac. In this version, it is then-modern-day 1987 and Cyrano is now fire chief C.D. Bales, played by Martin. Roxanne, played by Hannah, is now an astronomy PhD student who has moved to Bales’ town for the summer. It is a movie I was shown as a kid that I am still very fond of, so I naturally tracked down a copy of its gloriously synth and saxophone-centric soundtrack.

A new addition to the collection. If you’ve never seen Roxanne, I highly recommend it. A great loose adaptation of Cyrano de Bergerac, and one of Steve Martin’s best performances.
