I met some rather sweet llamas today.

Also: If you don't have money to buy my (or anyone's) books, and you live in the anglosphere, before you pirate them, try to get them from your local library instead. They have it or can get it, they pay for the books, and in many places writers get paid for their books being lent. Everyone wins!

My friend Nick (based in the Netherlands) sent me his thoughts on some #EuropeanArt he saw recently:

It has snowed in Chicago and YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS! Time to remind everyone that we light our train tracks on fire to prevent the switches from freezing.

Here’s painter Antoni Malinowski, leading a tour of his exhibition with photographer Helene Binet at Pitzhanger Manor.

Christmas Lates (Thurs 5 December) will feature a special programme animating Malinowski’s work.

It features readings by Martin Crimp and a dance performance by Yong Min Cho.
