Lol, this is always funny to me, because obviously it's orchestrated by code... but every single change is/should be trackable, so lying here won't help.
"Show us the code" seems to be the same as "show us the Epstein files"

I hope Perplexity is made an example that you need to respect robots.txt directives. They should throw the book at them for being this disrespectful 🤞🏽

04.08.2025 17:03 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0My buddy asked me once to grab butter from the store, and to "make sure it is butter."
I went to the store and grabbed some "something something butter," and then went back to drop it off.
Turns out I grabbed "I Cant Believe It's Not Butter" and my friend was upset 😂
There's only one thing the EU (and sane other countries) need to learn from all this:
- to produce EVERYTHING themselves and to not buy Chinese, Russian, Indian, or any goods associated to any BRICS state
They do run a risk of alienating India from the "West", but that's an easy cost to justify, IME. The pressure needs to be on for *all* BRICS states.
At the end of the day, the West doesn't need any "partners" like that. They don't need anyone that chooses to continue to fund a war against them
Yea, though, idk how much influence India has on the actual global oil price market because of OPEC. It sure seems like great business of undercutting them.
If Saudi Arabia and the US want lower oil prices, they will get lower oil prices, even with Russia in the picture
Finally. Anything to prevent catastrophes like Kevin McCarthy

You may want to create a BUDDY_BOT_TOKEN in your GitHub as a repo secret, with added workflow permissions, because otherwise Buddy cannot write `.github/workflow` file updates.
But that's the only downside otherwise 👍🏽
It is supposed to "just work", but there may be some issues here and there. Working on a few stability releases now to get it to a v1.0.
The `bunx buddy-bot setup` is a little ugly still, but it's quite self-explanatory because nothing is needed for it to work.
It currently supports:
- npm deps
- Composer packages
- GitHub Actions
and, of course, Launchpad and pkgx system deps! 🎉
Are there any other package managers you would like to see supported?
🐶🤖 Creating a tool very much like Renovate and Dependabot, calling it `buddy-bot`.
Unlike those tools, though, this is self-hosted (GitHub Actions) and open-source

One of the reasons I have such high admiration for @bun.sh is because they went out of their way to meet with us, and to help us along the way. They care!
A little recognition goes a long way!
Just something for me to share later on:
Once Stacks takes off, I won't care about supporting the tools that weren't willing to support us along the way. There's been plenty of chances. I rather build a competitor.
Take it, or leave it. We won't ask or beg for anything 😅
If you're planning on visiting Turkey ever again, make sure it's under different political leadership.
The country is going down the dumpster, and they're playing Europe like a fiddle
