Can’t say I share your optimism, but I hope we get the points.

It appears to me that he has either bitten off more than he can handle, or he believes there is enough money to be made, in the very long run, from the ground redevelopment? He is surely doing it for the love of money, not love of the club. As you say “time will tell”.
