That commercial was horrendous. As a Jet fan I was particularly offended by the section of the commercial that said “it could be anyone’s year” with a picture of the Jets logo. We even get dragged by the NFL

Anyone who knows anything about property taxes knows that rising assessments do not need result in higher tax bills. Tax rates should be adjusted to minimize tax impact. Freezing assessments benefits the wealthy areas of the state at the expense of everyone else.
