LDG declined to voluntarily recognize our union, and now the terms of an election are currently being determined.
It’s one of the hardest times in US history to form a union; and as such, also one of the most crucial.
“Solidarity forever, for the union makes us strong!”

This has been a long-term, intricately navigated labor of love and solidarity, driven by a desire to see a strong company grow stronger.

A few weeks ago, a majority of LDG technicians and comrades asked for voluntary recognition of IATSE Local One as our collective bargaining representative.

i am going to put a finer point on this: executive orders are not laws. and they certainly are not royal decrees. they are interpretations of existing law for the purposes of enforcement. the fact that so many people are treating them as laws is actually driving me a bit insane.

Last week I was in Wichita at the US Figure Skating National Championships. I met and worked with some of the victims of the American Airlines accident. They were children. Incredibly talented, caring, open, children. They had such community with everyone in that arena. 🧵
