The Freedom House Ambulance Service was established to provide emergency medical care to underserved Black neighborhoods—creating the world’s first paramedics.

That’s what I thought- didn’t mean to be contrary (although that may be my default at the moment) trying to agree that we can be better 😊

But, those once a year celebrations gave sone folks their only exposure to Black achievements.

So I’ll miss the great events and observances that had always been a part of Black History month

I haven’t seen that yet- I just can’t keep up.
