Same, and I just got the latest booster.

I've never bought into the pseudoscience that claims that disease strengthens the immune system. That's just not healthy.

Thanks! A little swelling on one side, but not too bad. That's part of the reason I scheduled it when he's off of school!

When tech bros make sweeping statements like this, they're showing how poorly they understand human cognition.

I've binged all the episodes out so far, and I suggest you do, too!

Whether you're already knowledgeable about forensic linguistics or simply FL-curious, you'll find the podcast both accessible and insightful.

If you'd read the linked article, you'd see it's a UK-based study focused on British adults, not Americans.

I use a smartlight in my teenage son's room to tell him when to come downstairs for dinner. Blue = almost time, Red = dinner is ready. It's quite effective.

Hmm, I'm having trouble finding examples online except for maybe "find a place to wee". But we really do say it, usually in a cute way when referring to children or pets. That is, it's not as common as in the UK, but not unusual either. Maybe we just use the more generic/adult "pee" when writing?
