Probably fossil fuel industry propaganda. Because thatβs where all the propaganda money is.

23.12.2024 08:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Not much interested in Christmas trees (invasive species where I live) but my family like them. This year we got one you can return and borrow again next year. It wasnβt delivered by bike unfortunately.

06.12.2024 05:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The Biden pardon really only highlights the hypocrisy and corruption of the Trump regime. After all, it was them made it a viable action.

26.11.2024 05:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Denialists desperately donβt want the science to mean anything to them. It causes them cognitive dissonance. Thatβs why they squirm so hard when confronted with it. They know they have none of that thing theyβve been told all their lives defines and explains the world. They will grasp pseudoscience

23.11.2024 09:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah, Iβd absolutely choose that option if it were possible. Unfortunately $10 billion wouldnβt even make a mark on surface. Thatβs about three days of oil industry profit. Theyβve been doing that much worths damage every three days for the last fifty years. Might fix three days worth of emissions.
23.11.2024 09:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0You donβt seem to understand that wiping out 75% to 95% of all species on the planet is not really a reasons thing for us to be blasΓ© about. We are currently causing an equivalent extinction event to that of the extinction of the non avian dinosaurs and everything else that went with them.
22.11.2024 04:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0All I see are people unwilling to engage with the long term details of climate change. We have already locked in major impacts for thousands of years at the very least that we have barely seen the onset of. That is absolutely certain. CO2 will be above 280ppm for thousands of years. Inevitable now.
21.11.2024 03:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 04.7 billion years? So what? Itβs about how it affects the planet and us right now. The past is only relevant in terms of what it can tell us about what to expect. Itβs the future we will have to live in. Or die in. And a detailed look at past climate change tells us that future is NOT GOOD.
20.11.2024 22:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thatβs not rational. Of course destructive billionaires should be held accountable. But climate change is happening whether that is done or not. Being unable to do that doesnβt MAKE it a hoax. And it is going to MOST affect us peons first and worst.
20.11.2024 22:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I just want to see a 100% deadly virus that has a 100% effective vaccine get out there. Make it so.
20.11.2024 21:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I donβt βbelieve what I wantβ. Thatβs YOUR approach here. I read the actual science and accept the overwhelming scientific consensus. Anything other than that is just lying to yourself.
thelogicofscience.com/2020/01/20/t...
The climate NEVER changes as rapidly as it is now. The closest to this is during the 3rd, 4th and 5th major mass extinctions. 1.5 million years at the normal, average background rate locked in by just the last fifty years. This will be the sixth major mass extinction in that 4.7 billion years.
20.11.2024 20:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The detailed reality of what we can expect as long term outcomes of the climate change we have already locked in are far scarier than that image. The extinction of 75% to 95% of all species. The collapse of our current civilisation with billions of human deaths. A gaping scar in the fossil record.
