Still this is way better than the “tell me a story” phase because I am not that creative to make up a story every night. 😂

Bought our kids blanket hoodies for our camping trip this week because mornings can be chilly and I’m dying at how my two year olds fits her.

I did this the other day and my whole body is so sore as if I worked out. 😅 I didn’t even get half the weeds but it looks better at least.

How am I supposed to release my inhibitions and feel the rain on my skin in these conditions?

I would also throw up. Ours went up $100 because we are escrowed and I was annoyed by it 😂

We do a sort of combined thing in our house where we don’t really limit candy on holidays but we limit the consumption time. So we will say “ok no more candy for now let’s eat something good for us and then we can have more candy later” or “let’s take a candy break and play outside.”

But also you CANT force them to go to sleep so all you can do is create the conditions for sleep and hope for the best.

One thing I didn’t understand about having kids is I assumed, like adults, when they get tired they’d get sleepy and then go to sleep. But kids don’t get sleepy when they get tired, they just get increasing less pleasant to be around until you force them to go to sleep.

Idk Halloween is so calming to me.

“Movies are too scary” At your age we watched horrifying Don Bluth movie about dinosaurs whose parents died and we LOVED IT.

Almost in tears trying to convince my children to watch a movie. ANY MOVIE. Literally any movie???? Please I can’t watch the same 12 episodes of Octonauts again.

It’s like that up here in the Midwest too. I always say I’m not going to do them but I end up doing it because I don’t want my kids to miss out, even though we also aren’t religious at all. 😅
