I’ve watched about 15 WR’s so far & it’s absolutely hilarious that while there’s not a singular elite prospect who I feel can come into the league & be an immediate WR1 right away, it’s littered with guys who will be high end WR2’s and solid contributors, and there’s a bunch of each type! Fun year.

If there’s one thing I’ve realized from watching the Indiana tape.. Omar Cooper Jr is awesome and I’m much higher on him after watching the tape than I was going into the draft process while also being much lower on Mendoza than I ever imagined I would be. Good prospect but #1 overall? Not for me.

With that being said, I also think it’s one of those years where it’s almost impossible to just flat out “rank” guys because they’re all so darn different. Just go get the type of guy you need that fits your system the best.. there’s plenty!

There is some absolute height weight speed FREAKS at WR in this draft class. Chris Brazzell & Ted Hurst are my two favorites so far. They simply shouldn’t move the way they do for the size they do it at. Good year to a need a WR!

I know he’s a polarizing prospect for many reasons but I really like the idea of Zachariah Branch in this Eagles WR room.

Wonder if the Jags would entertain trading Travon Walker this off season. They’re very tight against the cap & need to do everything they can to build upon last season and continue to improve the roster. Trading Walker post June 1 frees up his entire 15M cap hit. Someone I’d be very interested in.

Wonder what a potential Goedert extension would do to their cap situation? I imagine his 20M cap number would drastically drop netting them even more savings but not sure.

Howie & the Eagles will have some cap space to play with this offseason… Yes, they have to extend their young bucks on defense but simply by cutting Michael Carter & Extending JD, you’re looking at roughly 40M in total spending money to play with. Thats plenty to make this team better.

National media is far lower on Emmanuel Pregnon than I could’ve imagined! I think he’s a legit option at 23 for the Birds. He also fits this new scheme incredibly well. Have been very impressed by his lateral agility on tape.

Not to mention, not a single WR has ever come here and improved under him as a player that wasn’t already damn good at their job. Wild.

Moorehead retaining his job out of everyone is puzzling to say the least. For 3 years in a row every single WR in the room has run lazy routes, given 0 effort as the clear out runner, has had minimal run blocking production & this year every WR was disgruntled…

I’ve seen a lot of people attempt to make comparisons between the 24’ Eagles & 25’ Seahawks today… Stop it. In an alternate universe where those teams cross paths, the 24’ Eagles are a -8.5 point favorite on every major sport book.

Yeah! Not saying analytical people don’t have a place in the football space because they do, and some are great! It’s just so over saturated rn.... to the point where nobody really watches the game & analyzes with their eyes anymore, instead they analyze by what they see on a sheet after the game.

Think he could wind up being very, very good in the NFL EVENTUALLY but I personally think he’s very far away from that right now. Good prospect but not top 10 worthy where he’s going to go. Also better have a damn good staff around him.

I’m going to be lower on Carnell Tate than consensus. Great athlete & vertical separator, loose & fluid hips but his lack of dynamic ability & balance after the catch as well as how frequently he telegraphs his routes worries me. Also really needs to fill out. NFL cbs are going to tee off in press.

Not saying these stats are horrible and we should never use them but good God almighty man they are far from the only things we should be using to understand and analyze the game. We’re really losing the plot.

Analytics & advanced metrics have ruined the game of football and how it’s analyzed and perceived. When do you ever hear a football argument that doesn’t come down to EPA per play, QBR, Success rate, EPA per dropback etc…. It’s exhausting. Watch the damn games & analyze the film, not a spreadsheet.

I think it’s clear and obvious over the last few years that there’s two clear & obvious ways to have a SB winning team.

A.) Have an absolute super hero 1 of 1 at QB

B.) Build an absolute juggernaut of a roster the rest of the league can’t compete with and pray you stay healthy

No greater tell of how great they really are than post season performance imo. Everything gets tighter. Flags come by less often, every other team is also very good, better/stingier defenses, well coached units, no pushovers etc. He’ll be alright but this playoff run better have been eye opening
