When Teddy was 7, he was diagnosed with type one diabetes. For three years now, he’s managed this disease with incredible tenacity. No one wants to have to describe their kid that way but he has taken on this challenge and done extremely well!

If you run a Java edition Minecraft server for you or yours and would welcome a creative kid who wants to make a few online friends and build cool stuff, please let me know! We are looking for the redemption arc in this story

My kid has his first experience with online bullying today while playing on a Minecraft server that had previously been OK. Nothing has made me so 😡 & 💔as to see my kid in tears over the betrayal of people he thought were friends & sadness at the loss of everything he had built

One of our family traditions is watching the best rendition of The Christmas Carol on Christmas Eve. It is time!

Every once in a while, I remember to log any books that I have read physical copies of during the year. I added a few more this morning thanks to your post reminding me to do so!

Goodreads as well. For me, I know I wouldn’t actually track anything if it wasn’t connected to Kindle (my primary source of reading).

I landed on working more toward the beginning of this week so today and tomorrow are lighter working days. Working Monday & part of Tuesday then I am off for a week. Our summer nanny is coming back for a few days next week to lighten the mental load a little (& maybe score a day date with Brian?!)
