Because it didn’t, it’s hard to judge the significance of the findings—an indeterminacy reflected by the headline (“Gaza War Turns New Yorkers Against Israel, With Mayor’s Race as Backdrop”).

Clearly that’s true for some subset of voters. I just wish the poll had tried to measure the salience of the issue for the entire electorate (as represented by the sample). 1/2
