I'm no expert by any mean but this is what I've found by doing some researches.
Anything that isn't tempered glass should also slightly impact color accuracy (even matte tempered). Paperlike should be the less reflective.

I think it's most about user preference.
In general, a film protector could feature a textured touch and will soften a bit the screen.
A matte tempered glass will have a better screen clarity, be a bit softer than the film and be more durable.
Tempered should be crystal clear and super smooth
