Healthcare Workers Compete on Social Media to Raise Money to Fight Hunger This year's campaign helped contribute to a 5-year total over $3 million

Healthcare workers have been taking part in @hcwvshunger.bsky.social, a physician-founded social media competition to raise funds for food banks and other organizations.

#HCWvsHunger was started in December 2020 by @tmprowell.bsky.social & Angela Weyand, MD.

I didn't know #BlueSky existed 19 days ago when the amazing #KidVengers ⭐ leads invited me to join and here we are #MedSky seeing and being the light!

This was an amazing way to raise awareness about food insecurity while also providing meals to many in need. Well done to all who led this effort and participated!

The real winners are, of course, the kids. They inspire us every day to be better advocates and to keep pushing for equitable change.
