Agreed on all counts, including big concerns about the stats. Primarily looking forward to what we’ll learn from the results regardless of whether any BTKis are viable options.

I doubt I’ll be surprised by the results, and even if they’re positive I’ll have big questions. But I still think the conversations we have around them are valuable (and fun).

Proposal:
Instead of saving the exciting clinical trial results for the last day of conferences to try and get people to stay for the whole meeting, they should present them at the beginning of the conference so we can talk about them while we’re together!!

My migraines are rare (at least ones bad enough that I need more than Tylenol).

And kiddo’s responded well to OTC stuff, so I’m optimistic his will be manageable.

But it was awful watching him in that much pain. 😢

My heart breaks for my patients who deal with these multiple times a week or more.

In my case, for example, I’ve had pretty typical migraines occasionally with aura but never with vestibular symptoms. I have terrible motion sickness that feels very much like all of the awful symptoms of migraine other than the pain itself.

The connection/statistical correlation seems to be strongest for vestibular migraine, but it’s definitely not exclusive to that type.

Honestly I primarily blame the EMR people who seem primarily concerned with naming orders in ways that maximize the likelihood of mixups like this.
