The Indigo Initiative, which looks to be shaping up to be what I wished Control was: an explorative adventure game that's basically set in the SCP Initiative.

Really what I'm getting across here is 'everyone needs to make more Metroid Prime games'.

I’m close with a lot of voice actors and I can’t see how it has any impact on them whatsoever. It’s not taking their jobs, they will be paid. It’s a tool that means a solo dev doesn’t have to put his own voice where it doesn’t belong - for a female AI character. Your concern is noted.

Various reasons for that, and I’m not interested in justifying it to you. We’re excited to work with voice actors when the time comes

It’s really a shame that any gamer would make a snap judgment instead of considering the colossal effort it involves for a solo developer to make and release a game.

It means early development has used an AI voice for scratch audio (placeholder) that will be replaced with actors later on.

When the game is released, that Steam description on AI use will be updated.

Never believed Game Pass could be profitable, regardless of what Uncle Phil has said.

Giving subscribers access to costly first-party games at launch was the Pandora’s Box that diluted their lineup - could argue it led to staff layoffs, studio closures and becoming a publisher for PS5 games.
