I am embarrassingly into the original Halo (didn’t much care for others, save Reach) and I know I’ll play this remake but I am very skeptical it’ll feel anything like the original. They’re going to mess with the sparseness, it’ll be too busy, I expect.

This is FIRE way way way more interesting than any of the official 40K rpgs on my shelf. I did not expect to run a space marine game probably ever but now my players are getting all excited about space marines on my discord, based on quotes I'm pulling from this as I read it. And it reads so honest!

I’ve watched Love Is Blind France, US, and Sweden for research purposes and it’s fascinating how different the shows are thanks to the national characters. #ttrpg

Wrapped my first mini campaign (three games, levels 1-2) of #daggerheart. Very good experience! We played Age of Umbra, and players were intrigued in seeing the other campaign frameworks, as well as continuing this one. Currently feeling like a clear alternative to DnD for me. #ttrpg

October first dears

Spending time and as much brain power as I can spare on roleplaying games and with friends is self care.

The world is so shit right now I feel I’m getting dumber and more complicit every day I look at the news. Instead: woke up after, oh, two hours of sleep thanks to a dog with an ear infection to realize my brain had solved the problem I had with the weekend’s #ttrpg game last night. Thanks, brain!

Getting ready to run my first game of Daggerheart tomorrow. I realized late last night that I need Fear tokens. I had some skulls around but they were too small to handle. Printed some more, and these are perfect at about 15 mm for the dome #ttrpg
