Yeah that whole campaign setup is what keeps me thinking about it. The system is rather nineties, not sure I could stomach it anymore.

Tonight it dawned on me that we had accidentally created a party larp. Players hung out in the kitchen having night snacks and dancing well past what the game required #ttrpg

I don’t like it that I feel like my body has decided to start waking up at 5:30 to make it to morning gym before work. Not looking forward to getting through the day with less than 5h of sleep, again (I’ve actually gone to bed by 10….once)

I read Station Eleven by Emily St John Mandel. I liked it for its world building and theater and comic book motifs, even if the story fell a little short for me. I struggled to connect with any of the characters. #booksky

Ventilation didn’t break; that’s just overdue maintenance but need to get service for it. Heating wasn’t broken either, just district heating being wonky and me not knowing how to operate the system properly. Still, had to get a guy come in and take a look.

What a goddamn week with the house. Maintenance needed for: heating, plumbing, ventilation, fridge, and now the freezer decided to need defrosting just before bedtime. And it’s only Tuesday night. Bonus: I serviced my FDM printer today. At least that started working, and the replacement part was 5€.

We watched Weapons tonight. That was a quality horror piece, not something I’m used to seeing out of modern Hollywood.

I believe I aged a year or so, fighting with tables for my first Affinity releases. Going to give this a go in my next thing for sure. Thanks for sharing!

#ttrpg confession time. I don’t get along with Forged in the Dark, and the popularity of the system eludes me. The core mechanic just shuts me down, dropping me out of the fiction, my brain doesn’t work that way. Slugblaster changes it enough to appeal to me.

Rewatched Sinners. That’s still a damn movie.

I read The Ministry of Time by Kaliane Bradley. That was an excellent sci-fi romance without almost any of the speculative bs time travel tends to spiral into. Loved the real world connection, it really added weight to the fiction. #booksky

I rarely watch movies now. Saw One Battle After Another tonight and that was a good movie.
