Myself and others worked on an exhibition at the DU Archaeology museum that included some of these objects - we can probably share any notes/research if that would be helpful to you?

Bird nests made from anti-bird spikes?! 🀯

A thread. 🧡

Folks in this thread pointing out that low pay for high experience jobs makes them 'hobby jobs' - things for rich folks to do. When we make the cultural infrastructure of our country a hobby for the rich, we end up with a culture that valorises wealth. It is a political choice, and a dangerous one

A screenshot of Kai's StoryGraph 2024 wrap-up. At the top it shows four book covers, the first he read (Ariadne), the last he read (Butter), the longest (A Day of Fallen Night) and the shortest (Eggs: A Dozen Ovatures). The stats show that he read 18 books and 7,483 pages. His top genres were literary, history, historical, contemporary and fantasy and his top author was Jennifer Saint. At the bottom it shows the book covers of some of his 5-star reads including Lessons in Chemistry, Isaac and the Egg, and Femina: A New History of the Middle Ages. In the bottom right it shows his average rating of 4.24.
