Hubs and I are arguing about our 6th graders math homework at 5:30am.

We are trying to find the volume of a cube. I actually remember how to do that, he is trying to gaslight on this.

I was shocked that students no longer read whole books in high school. I had ten books per grade year that we read in HS in addition to summer reading.

My students struggle to read and I am so sad.

Eldest and I went to the Taylor Swift Release Party and it was so much fun.

I loved just being able to listen to the songs and hear her thought process behind each one.

I loved having that experience with my kid.

Hub’s grandmother died early this morning.

She was a really cool person. A late career librarian who got her MLS acre raising her kids. We shared a love of books and talked often about our favorites.

She had a great sense of humor and loved calling people out on their bullshit.

Glad I knew her

This is going to be a hilarious adventure of two people not knowing anything about NYC public transportation, a bad sense of direction, and an urge to buy all the books.

His marriage was awful for 14 years and he just never talked about it bc he thought it would get better somehow.

Friday Night Plans!

I feel bad but I legit have no spoons left bc I was so “on” at work today. Had to come home and sit in silence for two hours.

Haven’t shopped at Target since December but just got around to canceling my red card today.

Small steps.
