I popped over to North Van on the SeaBus today, or “The People’s Yacht” as Bowinn Ma calls it. I had a great visit with Mayor Buchanan who enlightened me of the rich history of the shipyards & the tremendous work the city has undertaken in transforming the waterfront. Thank you!

Premier @davidebybc.bsky.social and I joined with the Haisla Nation to announce the infrastructure required to run Cedar LNG on clean B.C. electricity - will be built. ⚡️

Because of this - Cedar will be one of the lowest emitting LNG facilities in the world.

When completed the Haisla Nation Cedar LNG project will be one of the lowest emission plants in the world. Powering this major export project with clean electricity ensures that BC has the competitive edge when it comes to selling our product to Asian markets.

We’re doubling down on clean power, expanding our grid, and working in partnership with First Nations – all while securing the clean electricity industries need to grow and creating thousands of good family-supporting jobs.

Today, Premier Eby and I joined with BC Hydro to announce the 2025 Call for Power is now open. ⚡️

We are looking to acquire 5,000 gigawatt-hours from new, large, clean-energy projects - enough to power 500,000 homes. 🏡

Holy 💩. So the BC Cons' position on infrastructure projects is that they would cancel projects that are already underway, starting with the Pattullo Bridge replacement (which is almost complete!!).

So basically: Cut everything. Cut bridges, transit, schools, hospitals, cancer centres. Ok. Noted.

Premiers came together to carve a path forward as we face unprecedented attacks from the Trump Administration.

For BC, that includes trade agreements with Ontario, Manitoba and Yukon to grow our economy.
